Florida First Coast Area Council welcomes special guest speaker Sonya Lowe, our District I Vice President of the American Business Women’s Association.
As an Educator and Entrepreneur, Sonya joined ABWA in August 2009, while living in Warner Robins, GA. She has a master’s degree in Logistics Administration from Georgia College & State University. Since moving back to Atlanta in 2018, she has been going full speed ahead. She has recruited 11 new members, placing her in the Inner Circle. Sonya has served in several leadership positions in Golden Dome and ABWA. Sonya was a presenter at the AAC Educational Leadership Workshops 2019-2021. She served as Co-Chair of Rainbow 2011-2017, Co-Chair of Ways and Means/Fundraising 2018-2019, Alternate Delegate for Atlanta Area Council 2018-2019, Chapter Secretary 2019-2021, Atlanta Area Council Membership Chair for 2020 -2021 and Chapter Woman of the Year for Golden Dome Chapter 2019-2021. Sonya was the President of Golden Dome Chapter for 2021-2023. She was the chapter Top Ten Nominee for 2022. She is a life-long learner and enjoys taking the free Apex Courses. Sonya is the current District 1 Vice President and an Approved Candidate for National Vice – President. She is a mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loves serving others and entertaining.
